improve our education system.
School Improvement
It’s clear that funding from government sources is not going to be enough to get our educational system up to speed. The funding shortfall results in schools cutting both academic and extracurricular programs. That means many of the children will receive a diminished opportunity to obtain a well-rounded education.
The end result will directly affect both the economy and culture of our country and likely that of the entire world. We will never have a chance at world peace until everyone is educated enough to read, write, speak, and understand the world in their own language.
Improving the American education system is a daunting task, although not an impossible one. We will need improved teacher education programs, expanded classroom curriculums, repair or build better facilities, and much more before we will be successful.
The underlying goal is to begin a movement where each of us steps up to the plate and takes responsibility for our part in the overall school improvement effort. Until we form a united front, an altruistic school improvement effort will always be nothing more than a dream in our minds and hearts.
